We are excited to announce the hire of our newest team member, Vice President of Sales and Recruiting Justin Watson!
Watson brings over 15 years of experience in the technology staffing, recruiting, and professional services industry to Vangst.
He sees many parallels between his prior work and Vangst.
“The growth projections, industry trends, and outlook are all very similar,” Watson said. “As a technology recruiting platform that serves the cannabis industry, my skills, experience and passion are perfectly aligned.”
GROWTH IS KEY
Watson describes himself as resilient, disciplined, and having a growth mindset.
“There is a reason humans have two ears and one mouth,” he said.
“If you don’t invest in your own development and actively seek feedback from your peers, your colleagues, and clients or customers, it’s just a matter of time before you become irrelevant and eventually lose!”
Watson joins Vangst after serving as the Market Vice President for software company Bryn Neil International.
RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
At Bryn Neil, he oversaw a high-performance team of sales representatives and recruiters. He helped to build standards, non-negotiables, mission, vision and core values for the company while defining the employee, customer, and candidate experience.
Watson also built a go-to market strategy and responsible for executing new strategic MSAs while professionally turning away business that did not support the Bryn Neil growth model.
His other responsibilities including establishing KPIs for sales, recruiting, leadership and helping to define the recruiting process and technical screening as a tech startup. Vangst is thrilled for Watson to contribute his vast experience and expertise to our growing technology-based recruiting platform.
